Ask HN: Why does browser crashes when content is copied from pupy repository?

A fellow colleague noticed something, browsers (non mobile) crash regardless of OS they are running when content is copied (Ctrl + c) from pupy (github) repository post proper loading of webpage.

Any pointers on why does this happens ? I have tested it on the following platforms.

  Windows - IE 11, Chrome 55, firefox 50 
  Linux - Chrome 55, Firefox 50 
  Mac - Safari 10
