I have a friend who is an artist on Instagram. They recently logged in and got a single, unpassable challenge screen [1]. The button link links to their general support page with no specific actions. No forms on there have gotten any response from support and they are locked out of their account entirely, even though it's still publicly visible.
I've worked with them and tried everything I could think of with no success. I know Facebook/Instagram support is crap and it's impossible to reach any real human often, but does anyone know a good way to get this resolved? Is over social media protesting possibly the only way? Do I need to find a Facebook/Instagram engineer here?
