We were an early adopter of keen.io (YC days) and were loyal customers for several years paying around $300/month for their data storage and explorer services.
Then, out of the blue earlier this summer, we got an email informing us that Keen was changing their pricing model, in 30 days, and our new price would be 5 times higher (approx. $1500/month) effective on our next bill.
So... We reached out to see what the deal was and if they were willing to negotiate?... Negative! They've decided it would be a better business practice to stab their longtime existing customers in the back! :-/
That's all I've got... Be weary of ScaleWorks and/or Keen.io people!
