Do you remember DM2 (DialogMate2 - https://sourceforge.net/projects/dm2/), the capable window manager that was abandoned long ago (the last version- 1.23.1, is from 2007-03-05). DM2 still works fine under Windows XP but on later versions of Windows it has issues. I miss DM2 very much since I have not come across an alternative that has all the features offered by DM2. Written in C, DM2 is a treasure of a tool- tiny, light, rich, configurable, portable. The developer exported it to GitHub (https://github.com/igr/dm2) hoping to find a maintainer of the project capable of refreshing the code and making it usable on modern versions of Windows. For more than a year such a maintainer hasn't been found yet (see- https://github.com/igr/dm2/issues/1). It would be great if there are developers fluent in C who are interested in reviving and maintaining DM2 project.
