Given Discords banning of the WallStreetBets server, Robinhood disabling customer accounts, a likely inevitable reigning or banning of r/WallStreetBets, plus what happened to Parler earlier this month, it's clear there's a need for uncensorable social media (which doesn't necessarily mean unmoderated), free from App Stores, AWS, DNS or otherwise.
While platforms like Diaspora and Mastodon have existed for a while, is there any place that could act as a viable and uncensorable alternative to r/WallStreetBets? That implies scalability, the possibility for "network effects" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_effect), a UX that "non nerds" could handle and probably more.
What do you think are the promising technologies and platforms that could become viable alternatives?
