macOS Sonoma was released a few days ago. Sure enough, as with every release since Big Sur, macOS now looks more and more like iOS (cf. https://www.theverge.com/2023/7/12/23792490/macos-sonoma-public-beta-preview, for instance)
I just don't get it. I hate this move, and I know I'm not the only one who doesn't want his computer to become a toy. Many people around me alo use a Mac, and I can't name a single one who'd want their computer to look more like the iPhone.
Am I a niche market for Apple? Also, what do you think is the real reason for this move?
