Blufa effortlessly processes any video your iPhone can natively play, analyzing it for visible faces and blurring them. It’s designed to provide sophisticated privacy protection for individuals without access to or experience with video editing.

I initiated Blufa’s development in September 2022 and released version 1.0 on the App Store last Thursday. The upcoming version 1.1 features a complete overhaul of the custom tracking engine. I’m hopeful that some of you would be interested in trying it out once it’s available on TestFlight (currently under review).

Full disclosure: The app is released as a commercial product, but I hope people will still want to experiment with it on TestFlight, which is, of course, completely free.
