I am the founder of Twing, after multiple iterations and seeing people not finding value with just summarizations!
I created TwingBot which basically sits in your Slack and gives you:
1. Open Action Items assigned to you 2. Action Items assigned by you 3. Task management and tracking 4. On demand summarization and digests 5. Automatic extraction of tasks from texts. 6. Privacy (No conversations gets stored, ever)
I like to think the insight is that people don't want to go and ask a bot to do things for it, they just want the bot to give it summaries and action items etc.
I like to think I have been able to validate that from my current users seeing as they are saving like 30 mins a day.
If video is more your style, maybe this would help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yskK8KxE_Sk
Will you use something like this? Do you think this has value?
Feel free to try it out! It's free!
Would love to hear your opinions!
Fun detail: It was not easy to implement something without storing conversations. It's a pain to fetch data from multiple channels from Slack at a time. :(
PS: If you wanna know the future of this. Twing plans to be the nerve center of your org sitting on top of communication tools and SaaS apps breaking the silos between different departments and making it all AI-native. You can get some idea at https://trytwing.com
