An interesting fact from the Bureau of Ocean Energy management claims that if you utilised just 1/1000th of the energy potential available in the Atlantic Gulf Stream, you could supply Florida with 35% of its electricity. So, if you apply the same logic across the world’s oceans, technically, there is the potential possibility to supply the entire world with electricity.
