onit.io was founded out of a need to get accurate sales and support information into our Salesforce.com CRM. We begged, threatened, incented, and even fired some of our people in order to try and get what we needed to effectively run our business. Every department, operations, accounting, sales, support needed to have accurate data to function at their best. We also were aware that we were getting about 40% participation and that the data that was coming in was incomplete. We knew that we could use technology to automate these things so there would be no need to BCC or cut/paste or remember to click a button to add that email to Salesforce. We created onit.io after trying many other products that just didn’t solve the problem.
